DPS is an aided school affiliated with Sheng Kung Hui, itself a part of the world-wide Anglican Church. We are an English medium, church school, providing a bi-lingual, Christian education for boys and girls. There are currently 2 classes per level, 12 classes in total and 30-33 students in each class.

Transfer Student Applications

Admissions Criteria

We seek suitable students who may benefit from an education at DPS. To be eligible for transfer admissions to DPS, the following criteria must be met:

1. Applicants must be eligible for placement in an aided primary school under the criteria set out by the Education Bureau of Hong Kong

We are accepting applications for 2022/2023. If you wish to apply for a place in P2, P3, P4, P5 or P6, you may write to us from 1st April to 30th April, using the form provided for your downloading. Only the requested information will be considered, so there is no need to send us any other additional information.

Recommendation letters are not required.

4. Transfer Student Information (Primary One)

At the moment of your enquiry, there may not be any vacancies at our School. If you wish to apply for a place in Primary One, you may write to us in May, using the form provided for your downloading at www.dps.edu.hk. The form will only be available in May. Only the requested information will be considered, so there is no need to send us any other additional information. Recommendation letters are not required. Please note that you will receive a reply only if your child has met our selection criteria for interview.

If you have submitted a Choice of School Form for Central Allocation by the Education Bureau, you may still submit a Transfer Student Application to us, however, you must also check the Central Allocation results on 1st and 2nd June 2022. If your child is allocated a Primary One place at DPS by the Education Bureau through Central Allocation, your transfer application will be cancelled, but you must register the place by following all government procedures on the 7th, 8th or the 9th June 2022 before the closing time, otherwise the place will be cancelled.
